DerivaTrust's patent pending discovery and communication system for virtualized contract apps is the vision of Hieu
Tran and Saheed Awan.
Mr. Tran is the founder of Viosoft Corporation, a world leading provider of Linux and
Android tool sets and debuggers and counts Intel, Broadcom,
MIPS, Toshiba, NEC, and others as clients. Mr. Awan is a seasoned collateral
management executive with considerable expertise in
cross-border settlement and clearance having spent many
years at Clearstream and Deutsche Börse AG and currently is the Global Head of Collateral Management Services for Euroclear, the world's largest international securities depository.
Greater Transparency / Less Regulation
Under the direction of Mr. Tran, the DerivaTrust team recognizes the need for investors and
regulators to have greater transparency into financial
market activities and risks, but believes that forced
listing of exotic instruments likely will place too great a burden
on market participants. Instead, the DerivaTrust team
envisions the utilization of a completely free-market driven,
voluntary platform whereby exotic market participants can freely share and
anonymously search for trade related information, as well as engage in secure and anonymous messaging relating to various
market exposures without compromising individual books or
positions. In doing so, DerivaTrust can bring greater
transparency to these markets, improve liquidity dynamics,
and create a platform where instrument values are more
accurately assessed.
Other Implimentations -- Social Networks
Empowering Users To Create, Control & Own Their Personal Profile Data And Messaging
Not only is DerivaTrust's technology great for enabling party discovery, transparency, and privacy within the financial markets, it is also soon to be deployed in traditional social network settings -- allowing non-financial social network participants to create and control their social profiles (empowering users to finally "own their data"), and in the process be free to develop new contacts, assess the value of new links in their network, profit from advertising and commerce run on top of their viewed profiles, and communicate privately and securely without any network operator viewing, recording, or potentially losing their message data. The technology is called OffGridr and should be coming to markets soon.
